Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is open all year-round. Situated on the rim of the almost 3 million year old crater, The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge has magnificent views and access to this great Wonder of the World. There are 4 distinct wildlife habitats occupied by a variety of animals including the Big Five, Zebra, Spotted Hyena and Wildebeest with year round game viewing.

Regional Air Services operates a twice-daily scheduled flight from Arusha airport to Manyara airstrip. Ngorongoro Crater Lodge chauffeurs guests to and from Manyara airstrip and the transfer takes approximately two hours.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is an extensive area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the famous Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. The NCA was established to conserve wildlife and to safeguard the interests of indigenous people and promote tourism.

Apart from its natural variety and wildlife the NCA is also of great archaeological importance, with the remains of some of mankind’s earliest ancestors discovered in the area.
