Beho Beho offers superb Selous accommodation in Tanzania in 8 individual and very spacious Bandas, (palm thatched stone cottages) furnished with king-sized beds, Zanzibari day beds, writing desks and comfortable 'suite' furniture. The front of each banda is totally open and extends onto a spacious verandah.
The bandas at Beho Beho Camp can be secured for the night with 'tented curtains' or left open. Each banda at this Selous accommodation in Tanzania has a separate dressing room leading into an en-suite bathroom with twin basins, flush toilet and an 'open air' shower.
The main house at this Tanzania camp in Selous Game Reserve is furnished in the style of a private house with comfortable seating and dining areas. Guests will notice that there are only a few walls. Shaded and protected by a huge palm thatched roof, the main house also offers a full sized billiards table, the Eagle's nest for private dining and lots of cosy nooks. Meals are a moveable feast and are not confined to the formal dining area.
Breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed at several lookouts. Beho Beho also offers wonderful areas for dining under the stars. Bush breakfasts and picnics are also arranged for longer safaris. This Selous accommodation in Tanzania has its own generator supply giving 240 volts of electricity. There are lights and power points in each banda offering electricity for recharging your computer, video or cine camera batteries.
Water at this Tanzania camp is supplied from the Beho Beho River, which has a constant supply throughout the year. There is also a bore hole. Water is pumped up from the river to tanks above the camp. Guests are advised not to drink the water from the tap. Bottled water is supplied for guests during their stay at Beho Beho Camp. For hot water, solar panels are installed outside each banda. Beho Beho is in daily radio contact with Dar es Salaam and messages can be relayed to and from Beho Beho via the hotel.
